Responsibilities: Create a residence community of diverse individuals
and provide support services for them to adjust to campus life, realize
personal growth and academic success, handle increasing responsibilities,
develop social skills, and enjoy their experience.
Duties include: The Student Services Program Manager position is
a twelve-month, live-in professional position responsible for the
management of a specific area within University Housing. This includes
the selection, training, supervision, and evaluation of a Resident Assistant
staff and general residential management. The Student Services Program
Manager is also responsible for the development, coordination, and
supervision of a programmatic area within the department, which include
the following student areas: Living Learning Communities, Media Services,
Security, Fitness Center, and Office Support. The Student Services Program
Manager is expected to support and enforce University and residence hall
guidelines by serving as an administrator of the University Housing Behavior
Process, and to share in the on-call duties and evening hours as assigned.
Additional administrative tasks and committee work are assigned based on
departmental need.
Requirements: Master’s Degree with one year full-time professional
live-in experience or Bachelor’s Degree with two years full-time professional
live-in experience required. Must demonstrate supervision, management and
counseling skills and possess a commitment to student development and
academic success.
Benefits: Starting salary commensurate with education and experience, base/
starting salary $38,473/year; full staff benefits; apartment; meal plan.
