If anyone has any information on Native Americans with the surname Cloud, would you please contact me? My relatives and myself are trying to trace the ancestry of my great-great-grandmother, Ana Eliza Cloud...

Thank you Paul DeMain and News from Indian Country for the report on reactions from American Indian regarding the shooting in Hayward County. I think many people who are not of the "minority" race would never understand what we go through still in this supposed unracist nation.

I read somewhere that President Bush should nominate a Native American to the Supreme Court and that's the best idea I've head in some time. Why not? I think it would be a great thing for the country.

i live in the UK have been interested and involved as i possibly can in the case of leonard peltier, his plight is generaly unknown to the rest of the world,i try to enlighten as many people as i can,to me he is more important than the mandelas of this world,he is a true spirit, and has touched my heart, and i am disgusted with the US fedaral government to ignore and keep this innocent important tallented man in a cage. what happend to freedom and liberty for all,???or is that all unless you are a native american???

I have only recently opened my eyes to Ingrid's story and life. I am so touched and at the same time saddened that for whatever reason I was out of touch to her story until now. I hope this is a beginning of knowing from this and many other cultures.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Schlender Family on the lose of their Dad and Husband. Jim was a fine and giving person and a leader in all he done. He was a credit to his tribe and will always be remembered for all the works he did for his people. He set a fine example and did his best. Hope to see him in the next world. We love you Jim for all your kindness.
