During September of 1999, Denver

Detective Abe Alonzo who had been working on the Aquash case for nearly five years was removed from the case without explanation. After the Nov. 3, Denver Press Conference Denver police spokesman said Alonzo was removed because the case belonged in the Homicide Department and not Intelligence. Robert Pictou Branscombe is demanding that Alonzo be returned to the case.
